Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in team and floor competitions and bronze medal in the balance beam. She was the first American to have won the most medals at an Olympics. The gold medal was hers in the team event at the 2016 Olympics that made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Also, she took home silver medals at the individual all-around as well as the floor exercises. Her break was three years between the two Olympics from competitive gymnastics. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at the age 2 and her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who passed away due to cancer. She hopes to build the opportunity to have a career that is successful in fashion. Her signature leotards as well as socks, and other clothing are expected to be expanded in the future. Fierce is a novel she plans to release later this year.
